About your presenter:
Walt Konstanty retired in 2015 after a 38 year career in GE Motor Department, with an additional 3 years experience in Transportation Off Highway Division on drill-rig motors and off-highway vehicle systems. He started with GE as a DC motor designer on 400-4,000 HP machines used in all applications including dynamometers, cranes, paper and steel mills, excavators and ships. He then transitioned into product service and became a technical leader skilled in teaching, repairing and manufacturing of both DC machines and field service work. Walt authored several IEEE papers on rotating machines during the duration of his career.
