Plugging Switches (CR2962)
The plugging switch, through a magnetic control, allows reverse power to be applied to a rotating motor and automatically removes this power when the motor approaches zero speed.
Similarly, the anti-plugging switch prevents the application of reverse power above a selected speed on a reversing drive of high inertia where such reverse power may result in damage to the motor.
The lockout device, supplied with some forms, will prevent false starting by manual rotation of the motor shaft.
All CR2962 plugging switches feature oil-tight/dust-tight enclosures, easy adjustment of operating speeds and lubricated ball bearings on all rotating parts to assure long life and reliable performance.
