GE High Voltage Circuit Breakers

Oil Distribution Circuit Breakers (FKD)

These oil-blast breakers are three pole outdoor units used in distribution voltage applications. These breakers were manufactured at GE’s Philadelphia Breaker Plant from 1950-1983 and are used for rapid interruption of distribution circuits between 14.4kV and 25.8kV.

Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VIB)

Vacuum Distribution Circuit Breakers are three pole vacuum breakers designed for service from 14.4kV to 25.8kV and are designed for outdoor distribution voltage applications. These breakers were manufactured at GE’s Philadelphia Breaker Plant from 1965-1979 and are used for rapid interruption of distribution circuits between 14.4kV and 25.8kV.

Single Tank Oil Sub-Transmission Breakers (FKA)

These oil-blast breakers are three pole outdoor units used in distribution voltage applications, and designed for service from 14.4kV to 72.5kV. They were manufactured at GE’s Philadelphia Breaker Plant from 1950-1983 and are used for rapid interruption of distribution circuits.

Three Tank Oil Sub-Transmission Breakers (FK)

These oil-blast breakers consist of three separate single pole outdoor units used in sub-transmission range voltage applications. They were manufactured at GE’s Philadelphia Breaker Plant from 1950-1983 and are used for rapid interruption of distribution circuits between 14.4kV and 72.5kV.

Three Tank Oil Transmission Breakers (FK)

These oil-blast breakers consist of three separate single pole outdoor units used in transmission range voltage applications. They were manufactured at GE’s Philadelphia Breaker Plant from 1950-1983 and are used for rapid interruption of distribution circuits between 115kV and 242kV.

Air Transmission Breakers (ATB)

The ATB air-blast circuit breakers are designed for the high speed interruption of faults and high speed reposing on modern transmission lines of high current, voltage and short circuit rating. They were manufactured at GE’s Philadelphia Breaker Plant from 1956-1983 and range in voltage from 115kV to 550kV.
