3-Port Industrial Ethernet Media Converter
Add a fiber optic port to any existing Ethernet installation. The ET-GT-3ES industrial Ethernet media converter connects your 10/100BaseTX line to 100BaseFX fiber, or vice versa. This allows you to extend your Ethernet network up to 120 km using high speed and noise immune fiber optics. Like all SIXNET products, this converter is designed for tough industrial environments and will operate from -40 to +85 degrees C. In addition, an extra RJ45 port provides an additional Ethernet port, so the original direct Ethernet connection to your equipment is still available.
The ET-GT-3ES is built upon SIXNET industrial Ethernet unmanaged switch technology. Intelligent message routing avoids collisions and reduces network loading. This advanced converter allows you to increase the throughput of your real-time systems and achieve deterministic results.
